Make Shop Birthday Parties are currently FULLY MOBILE! We bring all of the fun to you, and handle all of the mess! Birthday parties are completely customizable down to the color palette, or you can choose from pre-selected party themes! ​Our parties are recommended for children ages 2-10.


From June to September, we will join you outdoors, at a green space of your choosing. If we are joining you in your yard at your home, even better! If you are unsure of where to host your party, we are happy to make suggestions near you!

All parties are for 8 children or less, and are 90 minutes long. Each party includes:

  • 1 custom art project

  • 1 art exploration or sensory station

  • 1 oversized cardboard cake for painting and decorating

  • 1 personalized birthday banner for the birthday child to keep

  • Each party ends with bubbles!


  • Play-dough party favors ($3.50 per cup)

  • $25.00 per additional child (12 children maximum) 

  • $50.00 per additional 30 minutes

 *Parties must be booked 2 or more weeks in advance.



A $100 non-refundable deposit is due to reserve the date of your party and to cover the cost of specially curated materials for each event.


 Due to scheduling and the respect of our staff, please note we cannot cancel your event, and refund your deposit. If there are exceptional circumstances or health concerns, we will be happy to apply the deposit to re-schedule your event within a three-month period.


Are parents/caretakers required to stay?

Parents/caretakers are responsible for their child at all times and are required to stay for the duration of the party. Make Shop will facilitate the joy and the mess! However, we are not responsible for the supervision of any children at any time.


I want to book a birthday party. How do I do that?

Click on our "Request a Birthday Party" link and fill out our form! We will contact you to confirm availability and discuss party details. 


Is the paint washable?

Most of the paint we use is washable, however, we sometimes use paints and or markers that will stain clothing permanently or hands/fingers temporarily. Party guests are provided with an apron to wear throughout the experience, and wipes for little hands, but please note that sleeves, pants, and shoes are still exposed. To make the most of your experience; we recommend that party guests (and their grown ups!) dress in play clothes from head to toe!


My child is sick, can they still attend the party?

We ask that no sick children attend, as germs spread very quickly in this age group. Children must be vomit & fever free for at least 48 hrs. Please read our COVID guidelines for additional information. 


What happens in case of rain?

 In the event of inclement weather, we are happy to reschedule based on soonest calendar availability at no additional cost. Parties can also be moved indoors, if there is an indoor/covered option and weather conditions permit. 


Alternatively, we can reimburse the full amount of the party, except for the non-refundable deposit. For parties scheduled from October to May, ask us about our indoor party options!
